![]() I can play peaceful in 95% of my Apollo Games, with the 5 remaining % being the games where a military-heavy AI lands very near to whole system is very game-y and the idea is just to have something that you can directly work towards diplomatically. That's wrong, sounds like you're just not playing efficiently enough. Impossible to raise restect&fear with them on early and midgame. On highest difficult it's no chance to play peaceable - enemies handicap makes What i am getting at is that the way the AI uses the political aspects of the game is really unrealistic and i wish they would have gone a different path.Īll i can hope for now is that they modify some of the aspects and make them more realistic. How the hades do they know I am creating a trade treaty for whatever? the moment I do they pipe in and add their 2 cents worth. Room for 3-4 cities fully expanded.Īnother aspect is political agreements made between me and an NPC. It chirped in and said " are you trying to antagonize me?" WTF 27 tiles is a long ways away. On this same game i settled an outpost, and i counted, 27 tiles away from a competitor. Later on in the game he would declare a white peace only to declare war again a few turns did this probably 50 times over the course of the game. Lets put it into perspective now.How does it know how much money is in my coffers and my science at turn 45 is pretty low yes but these 2 reasons are enough to go to war on a new planet where you just escaped the old world because of war and pollution only to come to a new world to declare war over how much money I have/make and because i am not very scientific? I actually had a leader go to war with me after saying You make very little money and your science is weak. i have such issues with getting messages from the leaders of each faction. While i do understand there needs to be a way to simulate the political aspects of the game.
